• This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services.
• Fonts are served by this website itself. No connection to Google Fonts or other font services is made.
• There is no contact form. Contact takes place exclusively by email via your own email application.
• Personal data is only collected in the technically necessary server log files when you visit the site, and when you write to me.

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Deutschland. When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits data that the provider stores in server log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• page or file requested and amount of data transferred
• website from which the request originated (referrer), if your browser transmits it
• browser type, browser version and operating system

This data is required to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. The data is not merged with other data sources.

Log files are usually deleted after 7 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

If you write to me by email, I process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to handle and answer your enquiry.

The email links on this website open your own email application, in some cases with a prefilled subject. No data is transmitted to this website's server; your message only reaches me once you send it from your email application.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in answering enquiries.

Your data is stored until your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no further communication is to be expected. If a contract is concluded, I retain business correspondence in accordance with statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law of up to ten years.

On the project pages and on the home page I show websites I developed for clients as a preview inside a browser window. To do so, this website's server fetches the HTML of the respective project website, removes all scripts, cookie banners and tracking components, and serves a cleaned-up version. No JavaScript of the project website runs in this preview, and no cookies are set.

However, your browser loads the images and graphics of the preview directly from the servers of the respective project website. For technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to the operator of that website together with the usual browser information. No referrer is transmitted. The websites currently affected are loonacast.com, www.youtube.com, hiptron.de, mosbachbleibt.com, steelriseofficial.com, believe2.de. The respective operator is responsible for the processing that takes place there.

The preview is only loaded once you scroll it into view. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in presenting my work in a vivid way. If you prefer not to load the previews, you can enable your browser's data saver mode; locally stored screenshots are then shown instead.

This website links to GitHub, LinkedIn and the websites of the projects shown. No data is transmitted to these providers when you visit this website. If you follow a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place. I do not transfer data to recipients outside the European Union, apart from the case described in section 5 in which your browser itself establishes a connection.
